Found out that Cafe Collette in Brooklyn, NY has a Sunset Menu. Come on! How CUTE is that? Me Likey.
I find things about my country so randomly. I was perusing Elle Magazine’s website and stumbled upon a guide on Montreal which featured tips from Ben Mulroney, host of entertainment show E-Talk and son of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Gotta work those connections! Another thing I do is I think of friends who are taking vacations and send them things that are applicable to their trips, so Kristin Luna this is pour toi. Enjoy Montreal! It’s a pretty good list. My tip: if you’re really hankering for Smoked Meat or have never been, wait in line at Schwartz’s. Otherwise, go elsewhere (a.k.a. La Banquise around the corner).
That said, one of my FAVORITE things about Montreal is how cheap breakfast is there. My little secret is La Croissanterie Figaro, where you can get a full brekkie for under $10 (with juice AND coffee). The website isn’t doing their curbside patio justice.
